- Rheem Premier Solar LoLine 270L 2 X T200 Collectors - Electric Boost
- 1 x 270 Litre Cylinder with central heat exchanger, “Drain Back” reservoir and 3 kW electric booster element (cylinder can be internally or externally mounted)
- Pump and Controller mounted at base of cylinder factory set for optimum performance
- Heat Exchanger is pre-charged with heating fluid (top up may be necessary following commissioning)
- 2 x high performance glazed flat panel solar collectors
- The solar storage tank incorporates a solar monitor which is located on the lower front cover and
indicates the operational mode of the solar water heater - Collector mounting kit for roof of correct inclination (for flat roofs a stand can be purchased separately) - screws must be compatible with substrate/roofing material
Solar Installation Tips
- Collectors should ideally face due north, however, a system installed with the collectors facing as far as north-east and north-west will experience an approximate 5% drop in operating efficiency.
- Collectors should be inclined at approximately the latitude angle, however, 15° either way is acceptable, but not less than 10° from the horizontal. For flat roof installations, Rheem can supply variable pitch frames suitable for either one or two collectors with pre-set pitch angles of 15°, 20° and 25°.
- Metallic flow and return lines only MUST be used between the solar storage tanks and the collectors.
