The opportunity:

This is a multi-faceted role overseeing a team of three maintenance Fitters across activities with the maintenance of the Water Heater plant.

As a leader, your ability to coordinate resources to meet plant priorities is paramount. Ensuring machinery runs at an optimal level that safeguards the efficiency of the overall plant operations will be one of the biggest challenges! In order to achieve that your planning processes and other preventative measures that need to be implemented will ensure that we reduce breakdowns and potential disruption maintaining reliability. In addition, you're also responsible for the fabrication and commissioning of new or modified plant machinery. Rheem is focused on continuous improvement to meet future demands.

Finally, Health and Safety practices are front and centre, and a firm hand across the company's policies and safe work practices means that benchmarks are promoted, understood, implemented, and maintained at all times.

About you:

You bring a level of engineering expertise and workmanship to the role backed by a relevant trade qualification. With at least 5 years experience preferably within FMCG, your dedication to getting the job done, backed by a can-do attitude is obvious to everyone around you. Your ability to prioritise workflow under pressure when the demands are high requires a logical and steady hand that will allow you to form practical solutions quickly against requirements and or other issues as they arise. You are also able to forge proactive relationships quickly with your cross-functional peers that gain you the respect and advocacy across various teams to get the job done!
